I have created this site to share my journeys and stories as a female traveler so that you may benefit from my experiences as you courageously venture out into the world to discover, explore, marvel and connect on your journeys to new places.
My first flight was at the young age of four. I flew alone from San Juan, Puerto Rico to Miami, Florida to join my mother and stepfather who had moved there a few months before. I recall being excited, at the time families could escort you all the way to your gate (I don’t know who took me to the airport but I remember being handed off to a flight attendant, she had on her uniform and looked fascinating and beautiful. This is when I got my wings! They used to give you a small pin to wear when you flew. Cute plastic thing. The other thing I remember was having a conversation with a fellow passenger not sure if it’s accurate but I believe it was a man and he was a professor of some sort. I then recall being told to wait until everyone had deplaned and was taken by my small hand to my mother who was at the gate waiting for me with my stepfather and baby sister.
I say all that to say travel for me started at a very young age, it’s never been a scary thing, just exciting and fun. It explains why to this day I cherish the experience of travel.
I don’t know where I’m going but I’m going, so yes everywhere it is! Leaving a bit of sparkle everywhere I go ✨
